The Federalist Papers this is definitely not. But any form of written dialogue has limitations with respect to context. Better to have some forum to advance the issue, even if it is limited.
I suspect you are correct with respect to only a few ladies speaking up; it is unfortunate that there is a concern that having an opinion could hurt business. I can certainly keep those separate, but there are others who struggle to separate the fantasy aspect from the real people.

Maybe think twice about that. I know I have shared details of prior relationships with subsequent SOs, and the result was NEVER good. People start competing with a comment/history and act in messed up ways. Unless you have a permanent souvenir from the hobby I think it is best to not share.
But I am sure some think otherwise, which is why this thread is so interesting...

I’ve always been so conflicted about telling or not.
I’ve decided it’s best they don’t know and if they ever find out then they’ll just have to get over it.
Still sucks to have to exclude parts of your life with someone you’re supposed to be sharing your life with.
How is someone supposed to understand you when a big part of your life experience is missing from your story?
I don’t want to tell every guy I date, bc how many times do I have to open up about my past and have that be talked about (I can’t tell you how awkward it is when ppl have heard from someone else about your job but can’t really ask you. Omg its so uncomfortable. The looks and the silent judgment.), only to move on and have to do that all over again. Also, I don’t want to wait til we’re super solid and possibly mess up the dynamic or even worse, split. Ugh.
This lifestyle is a double edge sword. The customers get to get their rocks off and go back into society and be great dads, husband, and hero’s of the community and we’re just left with the stigma.

She has no obligation to discuss her life prior to meeting him, and why should we?
Civilians can be sluts all they want and it's nobody's business, and what we do is nobody's business either.
Not sure I agree with such a blanket statement. If you are discussing a life together there is some obligation to share your traits and behaviors. Do you need to tell them you smoked a few joints in high school? No. That you've been addicted to heroin? Probably, because that demonstrates a higher degree of usage and thus greater risk to the unknowing partner.
Sexual behavior should be viewed in a similar vein. If she had a wild summer and that was it maybe not, but that sounds like a lot more going on than a wild summer.
It's a job. Not a trait or a behavior.
