I have been thinking about visiting the beach

I was thinking maybe surfside? I am looking for something that is not the strand, although I am not opposed to it. Any suggestions on a nice beach to visit?

Are there a lot of spring breakers out there right now?

Also would anyone be interested in catching up with me if I make it down to visit the beach?

    Let me know.

Surfside is nice, not sure about hobbyists in that area. My friend used to frequent the area when BP was running but very seldom does she get requests to come out there anymore.

Yea I didn't know if there would really be any hobbyists there but I was thinking about finding a quiet beach to chill at. Last time I went to the strand it was annoying with folks driving down the road playing loud music and such. I like my beaches empty and free of people and no screaming kids, lol.

I was hoping maybe some guys might be interested in having me drop by on my way down there and back if they don't want to come visit me at the quiet beach.

But so far, no one on the south side seems interested, so I may just go enjoy a quiet weekend on my own. Always nice to take some time and reflect.

If you do come to Galveston please pm me and let me know. I've wanted to visit with you for sometime but the drive has kept me away as I live in Friendswood.

Beachside Villiage is an open beach that is rather calm. Not many spring breakers there. If you come down let me know, I am always interested in playtime

If I were looking for a nice quiet stretch of beach, I would do this. Head down to Surfside, turn left at the light on Bluewater highway, this puts you headed toward Galveston, but it's a long drive before you get to San Luis Pass. After you get out of town, head down the highway until you get out in the open air. There will be several entrances to the beach, just be careful and don't get stuck.

I don't really know anywhere on Galveston island where you can find much of a quiet spot on the beach.

Frankly I would ask Dorthy, I bet she knows the Surfside through San Luis Pass area.
