Not piling on, but you do need to learn how to lock your WHOLE phone. I thought iPhoneX had face ID. I'm sure it at least has Touch ID. Please go tot he store and have someone show you how to use these essential features!

Oh hey girl that was months ago when I had just got an iPhone. And had really had a chance to set it up. The only apps I have downloaded it that point where PayPal and Cash App and Venmo immediately. I haven’t even gotten into really setting up any of the other things. That was months ago trust me I got a brand new iPhone now with all the locks set up on it, LOL.
