Dr. David Reuben was probably the one that opened up my eyes the most. That's just because his book came along at the right time for me. Alex Comfort's The Joy of Sex was also an eye-opener, followed up shortly thereafter by National Lampoon's parody The Job of Sex. It's a lot of work to be a sensuous woman or a sensuous man.

But I think that we have to be our own hero, even if we're not charting any new territory. To boldly go where no man has gone before may work for some, but I'm okay with boldly going where I've never gone before.
