what is child forums?

hey
i was doing an advanced search and i noticed something popped up that said "also search child forums" what is that?
im not into gross pedo perv stuff and i dont take kindly to people that do and are into it., so what is that? and why does it say that? what possible reason would there be to label something "child forum?" and if it is some type of gross pedo thing then delete this account immediately and expect some bad surprises incoming.

also i had to post this here because it says im not verified so i cant view the ask staff questions i can post but if i click on the topic i posted i cant read it. thats stupid. i tested it out here and as of now i can view things in this topic. but i am very curious to know the answer to my inquiry.

i had thought it might be something related to report some type of trafficking stuff but i dont see that anywhere. but i guess im also limited to what i can see too so thats why im asking.

If you read the FAQ section, you would know you can’t talk about child anything here. I suggest you not try to go there here and take that talk to some pedophile website.

You gotta be “kidding” me!

Internet “construction” language usage designates the primary unit (forum in this instance) as a parent and its offspring is a child.

Therefore the Dallas forum set parent is Dallas and the forums associated below that are the child forums.j

As for the OP’’s observation regarding visibility, some forums restrict replies but not visibility to authorized users. Query support@ourhome2.net to report the issues.
