    Best oysters in Austin?

It’s getting to be cold weather months…so that means oysters for some of us!
I would love to hear suggestions for tasty oysters (In a restaurant LOL).

I just left Eddy Vs and tore up plenty! Little pricey but damn were they worth it!!!

Deckhand in Round Rock and South ATX has excellent Raw Oysters on the half shell, and delicious Charbroiled Oysters (three varieties).

Pretty good at Salt Traders and Monger's. Salt Trader's happy hour has like $1.00 gulf oysters that typically fresh, large and sweet. Good food, menu and drinks... Quality Seafood Market near Airport and 290 can be good (just south of the freeway from Spec's). Again, I believe they have a happy hour with good prices.

Mongers is a great overall seafood restaurant near 45th and Guadalupe. They have a variety of oysters and fresh seafood. TIt's a bit more of a date place. Call ahead for a reservation. They have a good happy hour menu. Try the fried shrimp!

I haven't been to Pappas Seafood in a while, but last time there they were good.

I assumed Quality Seafood was just a market - great to know that they have a restaurant too. Going to try Deckhand this weekend

Agree with the names already listed.
Had a few dozen at Quality Seafood and Perla's recently.
Another place I've enjoyed is Shore Raw Bar and Grill - northwest of Oak Hill on hwy 71
