I was in Las Vegas and had some old $100 and they told me" sorry , we don't take them! Too old! A $100 bill...hmm! Ok!

Personally, I like some of the old bills. And love the real old ones.
Mircocode on the former will tell you if it is real. And the quality of the ink on the latter will make you want it.

Been a scam going where one dollar bills are washed and then reprinted as old $100 bills. Hard to spot and they pass the marker test.

I'd never take a bill *printed* before 1996 unless it was the Silver Certificate or earlier ones. Except if it had the good old ink on it that you can tell the Fed spent $$$ printing.

Thanks to the microprinting, I can spot a fake.
