I saw the other post as more of a question about the possibility of adding the option and asking for input as to whether it would be wanted and if anyone else was doing it. Not so much a threAD IMHO but it did come on the heals of a threAD so the comment about posting twice is somewhat justified.
I think providers should be able to ask questions in co-ed regarding the possibility of adding menu items since it is hobby related. I'm not sure where else they could ask and get feedback. Can't do it in the Ad sections because we can't comment.
Asking the question is one thing. Saying you've added the item is promotion.
Sticking a thread out there just to see what you can get away with or prove some kind of point just makes you look juvenile.

And just to be clear. I have never inquired about seeing you.
I have never asked any provider to drop their prices. I'm not sure why you would even say that unless it is some kind of attempt to make me look like a haggler.
As a matter of fact I've been offered discounts and when I've taken the opportunity I still paid the provider's regular rates.

I think we all want to see providers posting in Co-ed. I'd like to see more. Otherwise it might as well be the Men's Lounge. Following or enforcing the rules about ads prevents everyone from thinking they can place ads here. You only have to go back a few months to see what it was like when a certain provider was spamming the Co-ed section with blatant threADs and it was causing other providers to either get pissed off and leave or post their own threADs. No one wants that and providers who follow the rules expect other providers to do the same. Anyway, thanks for opening up to the comment as constructive rather than an attack.

Sometimes just the way a question is worded it can come off as a threAD. Example: "Have you seen these big ole titties?" Yeah, that's a question but it is also self promotion. Saying you are offering outcalls is self promotion. Starting a thread asking if clients prefer incall or outcall because you were thinking of offering outcalls again wouldn't be self promotion. Asking what people think about offering video services as a menu item isn't really self promotion since you aren't doing it yet. Once you ad it to your menu it would be. Make sense?

Somebody starts a titty thread or a booty thread even if it's a provider and rather than say "look at mine"(promotion threAD) she says "show us yours". That's just fun.

Let's have more fun, less butt hurt and maybe we can all get along. Nah, who am I kidding?

Because if one provider posts a threAD and another one does the whole page becomes an ad zone instead of a discussion zone. There is a place for ads and this isn't it.

If ydgaf what anyone thinks why do you bother posting at all? I'll tell you why. Because we are all social creatures who want validation from people we have something in common with. We want our opinions, our voices heard. Providers tend to be very isolated(see the provider friends thread) and use the board to communicate with others in the hobby. I would submit that most providers who post anything on this board other than ads do care what others think because it is the one place that people understand what the hobby is about. Most can't talk to anyone else about it outside the hobby.

I'll be the first to defend your Have a good day post. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Did it get out of hand? Yeah it did. I blame inexperienced moderators more than anything. If I recall though the thread went 4 pages because there were people defending you. You seem like a positive person but in my opinion you have some thin skin.
