How do you all feel about this Texas block of porn....

So pornhub is no more in Texas..when you go to the site you get a lengthy message about why it's blocked

    https://www.pornhub.com/
    https://www.kxan.com/news/texas/porn...rification-law

Its all over age verification....wonder what's next?

This happened to me in Shreveport. I just VPN’d to Texas. Now I’ll have to VPN somewhere else. That’s one workaround.

I just VPNd to LA. PH works for me now.

Proton VPN now charges for out of country connections. Bastards.

For almost 20 years, life in Transylvania was just like in North Korea. It saddens me to see this in Texas. But there are other options aside from PH. And there are workarounds for PH anyway.

"Under the PROTECT Act, all sorts of sex workers--people who appear in professional porn videos produced by others, people who create and post their own content, pinup models, strippers and escorts who post sexy images online to advertise offline services, etc.--would have to turn over proof of their real identities to any platform where they posted content. Sex workers and amateur porn producers would have their real identities tied to any online account where they post. This would leave them vulnerable to hackers, snoops, stalkers, and anyone in the government who wanted to know who they were."

You must mean theoretical locked up, and not actually locked up like the demoncraps want to lock us up for questioning an obviously stolen election, refusing to get injected with unproven gene therapy drugs that were designed to depopulate the planet... or is it for not using the right pronouns, or owing a gun or gas stove?

You asked "What's next." The PROTECT Act is a proposed bill working it's way thru the U.S. Congress. As it's currently being proposed, it most definitely applies to sex workers and content providers. And it would apply nationally, not only to a few specific states. It may never happen in its current form, but this is what's being planned. It's what's next. In a very similar way to how abortion opponents aren't content with restricting access to abortion services, they're also planning on severe restrictions for birth control, and providers of women's health care in general. That's what's next, too.

I know we're not supposed to discuss politics here, and I've been very careful not to mention political parties, but it's not hard to figure out what's going on here. In this case, they're deliberately coming for your livelihoods. I've seen ads and posts lately from providers mentioning that they're planning/contemplating retirement. I get it. It's certainly not a bad idea to at the very least have a Plan B in place that's very well-thought out.

You mean like that one party did during Covid? All that freedom we lost. They deliberately fuked everyone who did not agree with them. Lost your jobs, called terrorists, and lost livelihoods. Many still not back from it. I hate both of parties. But if we are going to throw darts. Make sure to cover both sides.

Funny how free speech is bad and should be censored because someone's feelings are hurt, Then free speech is bad and should be censored because someone deems porn bad. Both parties do it.

Not sure it’s possible, considering the topic is legislation … but the vitriolic sniping regarding politics and elections is everywhere. Would be great if it were not here. We are familiar with the noble objective of this board.

A provider standing in the shadows once said: "I just can't do civvie sex. I'm too fucking spoiled!" (truth)

For ladies who can’t be bothered reading profiles: … old guy … long hair and full beard … not a stud muffin … not every woman’s dream … but polite ... very, very gfe, smooching, cuddling ... more smooching
