I am always horrified when reading reviews about massage parlors that are posted here and else where.

Addresses, names, and deeds are posted for everyone to see! Very unsafe for providers there! It is like they are first who will be snatched!!!

I hope those girls will run from parlors as fast as they can.

Massage specialists are registered with State, just like Notary Public and punishment for involvement in sex actions might be severe. Plus, owners of those places will get harder punishments for running operations there.

Yup exactly and it baffles me when guys tell me they feel safer at those establishments. Like that's where trafficking likely occurs more, which means for attention from LE, and its much easier for them to send someone there (a public business) undercover, and from my understanding from several people, most of those girls just flat out ask if they want extras. I've definitely seen that address before in reviews, which should be private just like our actual addresses are in reviews for this very reason and have people PM them for the actual location or something.

I’m leery of massage parlors due to the possibility that they may have ladies who are trafficked and not doing it on their own free will. The thought of being with a woman who is being forced into being a SW is what I want to be a part of. I steer clear for that reason alone.

I'm assuming there's a typo in the second to last sentence there, in that you DON'T want to be a part of it, but yes - it would be a harrowing life to be forced into that. Thanks for caring about fellow humans!

To some degree I understand there are people who just can't or don't want to think about how it would feel to have such a poor quality of life or the circumstances that could lead anyone to be trafficked/homeless/destitute/addicted etc., because it makes it more real - or perhaps it's unfathomable to think it could even happen to them or someone they know? I think about that stuff all the time...honestly my sense of empathy is out of hand that I'll even feel sad about a discarded piece of furniture of the side of the road....Idk...I think growing up watching The Brave Little Toaster did something to me lmfao.

so sex trafficking gets all the media attention but what I'm really pissed off about is labor trafficking. Those brought to our shores and doing forced labor so we can enjoy goods at a lower price than if those workers were being paid a fair wage. I wish LE would do more about labor trafficking (much more rampant than we all think) vs the high profile but probably not as numerous sex trafficking (and if its happening at massage parlors more than everywhere else, LE go for it). If LE did more to stop labor trafficking, not media sexy at all, it would do more good overall.

Yeah.... well this post is meant to be focused on sex trafficking because this is a forum for, well ya know.... not a forum about "labor trafficking" or normal day to day jobs. Those are 2 completely different issues entirely. Forcing someone to do this for work vs "normal" jobs that are more common are completely different ballgames and political topics.
