Nationwide service outages this AM... grr...

Well apparently there's nationwide service outages going on at the moment, going to be an all day dealing with AT&T.

Those needing to reach out will need to do so by email or PM!

But anyone else having this problem? My daughter's cheap ass phone still has service and is working go figure lol

I use Tmobile as my private phone provider. No problems so far.

I only use email for communications.

I use WhatsApp with many ladies and friends who are mainly from Latin countries. It's very popular and used rather than texting in many other countries... it's great since the communications are encrypted. It also works great over Wifi... as well as on cell phone networks.

I believe you can also text using Wifi... The key is having a Wifi network nearby... which might mean stopping at a Starbucks to say you'll be there in 5 minutes...?

As Alexandra said, email is a good potential way to communicate.

Social Media also can also be used for communication over Wifi and/or cell phone networks which facilitates communicating through IG, FB, etc....

Yeah it was mostly AT&T customers, some Verizon and Tmobile. I have 3 lines and only one of the 3 worked. Kept getting a 502 gateway error everytime I tried to set wifi calling up. I've heard a lot of issues with some of those apps and messages not coming through all the time. I have Telegram though, it didn't cross my mind to try it lol but they would also have to have it. Luckily our wifi is Spectrum so it worked so I could get on here and social media.
But yeah service outages jumped from 30k at 4am to 70k by 6am. Mostly South and SouthEast as well. A LOT of my social media friends didn't have service either.
