H2 is not, never has been, P411! Screening/references are still necessary!

Since there seems to be continuing misunderstandings on both sides, let me make some CRYSTAL CLEAR statements:

As stated in the stickied thread on verification in the Welcome Wagon, gents should STILL expect to be screened before seeing a lass, and chief admin ck1942 has also indicated numerous times that verification is NOT a substitute for screening on the part of ladies. H2 has never intended or pretended to be another P411.

Hobbyists, please do not be offended when Companions refuse to see you without screening or references even if you are verified. Verification of members is for SITE purposes only, and while it's a wee bit of extra reassurance for the membership, it's blind. Members are NOT, for reasons of privacy, going to be cognizant of who has vouched for whom. Companions have to feel comfortable seeing you, so they are going to need to know, and check with, providers you have visited before, and in lieu of that will likely want to do additional research as determined by their own requirements.

Companions, again I say that H2 is not P411! Do NOT rely on member verification as a sole alternative to screening and/or obtaining references from Hobbyists. It is up to YOU to keep YOURSELVES safe! How you do so is personal choice, but please do not place that responsibility on H2, a discussion and review board.

This thread is not about either reference or screening requirements, or even the vouch/verification process itself, so please save analysis of those for other topics. It is strictly a clarifying PSA that can be linked to if the need arises. Thanks. -- Fancy, H2 Community Guide/staff

I accept OH2 gents when traveling and simply ask, who vouched for you? Then I confirm with the ladies. They are free to give me others as well, but the ladies who provide vouches tend to respond quickly.

Since you posted this it is an extreme amount of gentleman posting in ISO hoping to see one girl and be verified.

There's also a huge amount of gents whom are verified now, whom PM and don't give refs bc they think the verification is enough.
I tried to explain to 1 this morning that reference is more personable that means I get to find out if the gentleman is respectful if he's hygienic and such..... Just being verified doesn't help me to know what type of gent you are.

Stop fighting the reference process fellas. If you're trying to schedule with any lady. Why not offer a couple refrences initially?!

It's been posted REPEATEDLY and in numerous areas that it takes TWO to tango on H2, two vouches from Verified Companions, and that site validation is completely separate from provider screening/references. Don't know how much plainer staff can make this. (Tattoo it on a pretty behind and post it in a picture thread?)

True, but the intent if this thread is merely to clarify, not convince, and serve as an FYI to the choir. For those who need it, this gives a clear statement by a member of staff that can be linked to, as many new local fellows were under the fallacy that once verified, they do not need to undergo screening. A few lusty ladies also haven't fully understood that verification isn't a method of screening, and is for site purposes only.
