Don’t mix betas with other fish. Betas don’t play well with others.

When I was a child.My Father had a couple of fish tanks . The Betas would eat the eggs and babies of the other fish.

I've heard of some folks that have had success with them in a community tank but mainly females. The males are assholes lol

The Beta Males, Are Very aggressive. They are Called Siamease Fighting fish

Yeah and I think the only people that had luck with males, had them in a tank with stronger/meaner fish but then I feel like they probably aren't happy. My tank is doing really well community wise. Everyone gets along great and the fish intermingle and school together. They also don't mess with the 2 tiny scrimps
