Crawfish lover here.

The best is probably the Boiling Crabs since they always have a 1-2h wait line. They're not like how they're used to be though.

My go-to places are the crab stations and kickin'Crabs.

Fiesta Grocery stores - fresh and alive - and you pick your own.

I recommend an outdoor fryer or a heavy duty air exhaust on the stove.

Thanks for responses. I found out that pappadeaux no longer sells crawfish. I am bummed.

I have tried shuck n jive last friday, it was ok, nothing to write home about.

I went to Red Crab in Arlington and they were the best I had this season.

You have to head east into Louisiana to get the good stuff.

Prices getting a lot better. Early in the season it was $7+ per pound. Got some earlier this week in $3+ range per pound. Last year’s low was $2.75 per pound at the end of season.
