I usually just grow peppers because i like spicy food. I have basil this year too. I love gardening but dont have a huge backyard so im limited. I prefer to have room for my smoker, grill, firepit, and have room for company outside.

I can throw down on some zucchini bread though!

Well cover them up with a potato bag so the sun does not hit them all day or a umbrella

    Really
Even the sun kills our skin if we stay out in it all day

Summer squash (including zucchini) & tomatoes are pretty well done for the year because of the heat.
You have to plant in March for any success.

My peppers are going crazy. If i can figure out how to post a pick will do tomorrow... I have more hot sauce and peppersnvinegar than I can eat in a year. Everything else is in bad shape. Too much heat.

Even with limiting the sunshine I'm still growing sun-dried tomatoes. Just too much heat. The only one loving it is my angel trumpet plant (native to the amazon forest) and it's in the shade.

    The color is called fireworks!!!

I got landed in the hospital Saturday-Tuesday and the 109 heat has finally done it. Safe to say my zucchini is dead :(
