Looks like bombs went off down here. Definitely the worst storm aftermath I ever saw around here. Miserable situation. No power, gas is a total bitch to get, no running water, no natural gas. A lot of desperate people and looting is an issue. Ugh. Hopefully more relief trucks get down here soon.
Compared to my neighbors, I made out ok. Busted windows, water damage, most of my shingles and my turbines blew away, carport attached to my house collapsed, trees and fences down. But there were plenty of others who completely lost their homes, or their roofs. So I was pretty lucky.

Just can’t believe how bad it is down here.

Sorry to hear that, Al. It sounds pretty bad to me, but considering the eye of the storm was pretty close to Houma, it could have been worse as you said.

Well we will have 100 more men going to houma in morning..
Thats probably......24 crews....so about 50 bucket trucks....24 pe setters.....and mmmmm 15 or so pieces of off road equipment
