Happy Hour Meet n Greet

Set a time and place for recurring happy hour for hobbyists and providers to mix and mingle. Maybe once a month, or once every two weeks.... thoughts? Pros and cons? Someone else would have to organize it - im just the ‘idea man’.

I haven't been to a "social" in years, but they were nice, relaxed mixers, usually held in restaurant/club private banquet/meeting rooms. No Hobby discussion in public places where it could be overheard, of course, and no risque biz onsite.

I live too far out in the deep, dark, spooky woods to effectively arrange such and am no longer familiar with venues. Our happy host admin ck1942 does successful gatherings in Austin and San Antonio. Perhaps he could be convinced to host something in Houston IF the interest was there and IF he had the time?

First get Verified Hobbyist status, I imagine, as very likely only vetted H2 gals and guys would be invited to such an event.

Squeaky wheels get greased, so if members really warn something like this, make it known.

They do this in San Antonio every 2 - 3 weeks or so. Maybe you can contact CK about it. He is the one who handles all of it. :) He has the gents send him 2 or more ladies for verification. Maybe he has some good ideas :) I would love to attend a M&G here :)

I have a discrete venue at my disposal and I love hosting meet and greets I've had many over the years while in the Hobby .. from the old aspd. And horndog days to eccies.. My meet and greets always had the hobbyist and providers safety first..

That would be awesome :) I love the socials that they had here in Houston a few years back. I do enjoy the socials in SA, but I do not like how they are having them in REALLY public venues... where Families/kids often go... wish that would change...

I used to do mine at Strip Clubs............. Every one just blended in and the providers all had fun with the strippers........
