I actually still have the email inviting us to the board (originally hosted elsewhere). Some of the Aspd staff set up home@2 before the lights went out for good at the mother site. Accounts weren’t created until you registered, but it was suggested you register using your ASPD handle. I guess since they still had access to aspd’s records as administrators that helped in the registration process.
It was ERAPS that inherited the old database. By the time that site got up and running both Eccie and OH2 were already established. Eccie in particular had such a big head start that ERAPS really didn’t have a place in the hobby market, so it faded away.
