It had my username, but the link to my profile and private messages redirected back to the main page, so I have no idea if old posts will be retained. A traceroute shows the IP goes to the Netherlands, so maybe that's how they are planning to re-open.

I hope that this site continues, though. It was kind of nice and intimate.

I have a lot of notes in my notepad, and messages I'd like to keep. But otherwise I'm not too excited about ECCIE coming back. Although I have a lifetime membership there and I can't seem to get verified here, so that's a pain. Otherwise, I like the people here.

You can still view some reviews with Google cache. Just search for "eccie" followed by other search terms, like your username or the name of the provider you reviewed, but you can't see the ROS which kinda sucks.

eccie had way to many trolls. Although fun to harass them, they kept popping up like dandelions and mgmnt wouldn't shut them down.

I think the weird thing about eccie was that it appears that folks got spoiled using that as a primary contact source instead of simply keeping in touch outside of eccie.

I have had no problem keeping in touch with my favs the last several weeks. And, the gals on my dance card have always had permission to keep in touch with me.

So I agree with kcquestor: "I'm not too excited about ECCIE coming back".
Btw, the servers did move "elsewhere" a couple years ago.

I really liked eccie and enjoyed reading the reviews and comment threads but I didn't know that eccie charged girls and I had no clue that it charged them so much money. I thought that they just covered their bills with ads and the guys who chose to buy memberships.

I don't care about all the details in the reviews but I do like to know if a provider is real and also a general idea of location. Without some type of info you don't know what you are walking into. With switter everyone boosting everyone else, there is no way these girls know each other. Just my 2 cents

I think it'll come back like theotherboard.com. Basically the specifics on the reviews will be removed (DFK, greek, etc...) and all the escort ads will be toned down or removed to avoid the image that they are facilitating prostitution.

Yeah, I had a whole thing going... I would stick to ladies on P411 that had reviews on ECCIE. With all the old sites being down and everyone trying to find a new place to make this work, it's hard to know who's trustworthy... apart from the great gals I've had the pleasure of meeting before. Good for repeat business I guess!
