Being an Escort and a Professional IS and should be separate, there are Professional Dominatrix who also offer escort services and they are glorified escorts. A Professional Dominatix would be putting herself in a submissive role, if she offer/has sex, which defeats the Principle and Meaning of a Professional, A sub should be clear and the Professional Dominatrix should be clear what is offered from the start. I quickly chatted with a few former pro domina's I've known for years on this subject. We got on the topic of how female subs need aftercare and male dom's especially need to beware of the dom drop. They have not indicated to me they felt anything resembling dom drop as a male dom would feel. They are also not willing to show any aftercare because to them "that breaks the veil." Gothchic is correct in being sure what should be offered at the start. The issue with what many have during this type of play is doing too much too soon. From reading recent blog posts and articles, the expectation is that male doms with female subs still maintain traditional gender roles, while the reverse is unheard of.

To put it bluntly, male doms can hurt their female subs and have major guilt, remorse and shame (even physical manifestations). Female Doms would not. I'd stand corrected if someone presented a different opinion.
