I'm a liberal, but I don't think Comey is to be trusted by anyone now. If Clinton had won the election, we would be talking now about if he should be fired for what he did during the campaign and Republicans would be defending him.
He's really burned bridges with both parties, imo, and should be trusted by neither. He's just doing this book deal now as a cash grab since any of his future political aspirations are done now.
As for McCabe, while the timing of his firing was bad (if they were going to fire him, they should've just gotten over with it and done it earlier instead of letting him sit around on the taxpayers' payroll), iirc, there was an internal FBI investigation that recommended his firing as well, right? If that was true, I think it was correct to get rid of him.
