I figured out that wasn't even the setting that I wanted, as it flipped the posts in the thread into the wrong order. It took me five tries and thirty minutes to get it back! Yikes.

The take away for me was I’m not using correct descriptions of what I’m seeking.

I want the Sub-Forums to list the threads with most recent activity first. But when reading an actual thread I want it in chronological order.

I’m getting this in the Texas forums I’m reading, so I’m hoping it is an admin setting for the OK forums that can be changed.

As it is, when I open an OK sub-forum, the thread dates are in a seemingly random order.

Bwaahahahaha, figured it out in part! There is a system lag and until the system recognizes, changes don't show up. So no immediate gratification. I read in another post, maybe by CK that post edits could take up to a hour to show up. I know I made other post in this thread and it hasn't shown up yet. Now that I know this, I can make changes and wait and hour and see if they took..

There is something very wrong with this thread! In main forum it shows as having 2 pages, click on post it says it has 4 pages. Somethings definitely not quite right lol.

.... Make changes hit save, hit save again and then refresh your page, then log out, back in, and check to see if settings stayed....

Then spin around 3 times, touch the tip of your nose, drink water upside-down and backwards from a glass and say "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Bettlej.... no don't!! That's something else...
