If I may ask... How long have you utilized this resource? I'm actually embarrassed to admit, but I never started a Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media page...lol.. So, I have no idea how Twitter even worked...I'm just curious about switter and wondering if it would help me in any way or could it possibly draw unwanted attention in the future ....due to changes in the law....

I've had a twitter for years but switter is brand new. I think there are a lot of benefits. It legitimizes you more, keeps you connected with what is going on in our community and gives you a platform. I know its scary to put yourself out there sometimes but at this point we need as many of us as possible to speak up. If you decide to get one, add me! @leahallurah.

I absolutely LOVE switter!! I think it's very beneficial for you as a provider to have one. And the community on there is great!! Honestly at this point if we all want to keep doing this we are all going to have to get our rights back working together.

Switter is an instance on a federated social networking site called mastodon. Mastodon has thousands of instances for any and everything you can imagine so it's great for getting you out there because everyone on every instance can see your posts.

They also have an SSL which I don't think this site has just yet.
