Poll: Who would you want to see first? Providers with posted phone numbers VS email

I'll send an email or screen on the provider's site first. It's more professional. Not only that, but I'm pretty busy rw so I like to schedule well in advance.

I only have my email up. Have been doing it that way from the beginning. With no issues.

I prefer email or pm. It is much easier to hide my activities that way. I had a provider text me one time to see how i was doing a month after i last saw her. The bad part was I was out with my wife at the time. she played it off as a wrong number but if my wife had checked she would have seen the number was from the state i had just been working in.

I'd rather PM first and then move to texting afterward. I've been around long enough to where providers used to like you to call them over texting. Now it seems texting is the norm.

Another interesting thing that I've seen recently is that when I reach out to a provider over PM the first thing they usually ask is to hit them with a text

EEESH!! That's some seriously unprofessional behavior! I can see where that would make someone "gun shy" of giving out their number.

BUTT....I know for a fact that I have dodged some MAJOR "bullets" by not accepting app numbers and requiring an actual voice as part of my screening.

I prefer text over text over PM or email too. However, I don’t expect text until I’ve been screened. Posting your digit upfront is careless. Think about all things that can happen by having your digit on public post. If you can’t think of any, you’ve more to learn in hobby.

That's why you should have a HOBBY phone................. easy to ditch and get a whole new one.............

Sweetheart, I’ve experienced more than you can imagine in this hobby and I still think it’s in MY best interest to keep MY phone number posted for MY business. Some men are idiots, some aren’t. Doesn’t mean I have to take my phone number down because I get weird messages. It comes with my work. The comments, the ignorance, the arrogance, men telling me how to run MY business. It all gets ignored or corrected and I continue on about MY business.

Again.............. best to have a hobby phone............. Go to WalMart..... 20 bucks plus a prepaid card......

Store your hobby phone away somewhere safe til your ready to have again...... No worries.....No hassle......
Sometimes providers like to text specials they are running or just to say hi...... I love it.... keeps me in touch with many ladies......

I agree with this a Thousand % I always like to have a conversation with the Person first at least to see One if we click Two I'm actually talking to a Female. I absolutely hate texting a person IDK you're putting all of your business in writing I don't like discussing anything in text all I want is a location and time Other than that we can discuss. If you're too paranoid to talk on the phone for 2-3min then to me this is not the hobby to be into. But to each, his own this whole game comes with risks no matter what you tell yourself about screening are whatever precautions you take to feel safe. I want to have a conversation first because it makes me feel safe.

The quality of by business & inquiries (and sanity) has improved since going text/pm (p411 or hobby board)/email only.
That's from someone who was primarily phone calls only no text originally probably my first 3 yrs as a provider (Feb 2020 makes a decade).
There's def that sliver of clientele who want to call you anytime but I personally have a bit too much going on (including a civvie career) for that but I figure a good chunk of guys these days have email on their phones anyhow (regular phone or burner/hobby phone) just like I have the Protonmail & Tutanota email apps on mine.
If anything i've encountered an uptick of those who'd rather carry things by email/pm only.
I'm not hard to reach but random calls just aren't my jam.
