Personally, I've not heard of the area being a prolific Hobby playground, and unsure if the local population would be adequate to fully support a companion, but others with better knowledge may chime in.
You might try placing some targeted carnal commercials to see what kind of response you get since H2 has multiple ad forums open for use daily.

I had use of an apartment as a private incall for several months.
Never built up enough business to justify renting the apartment for myself when my friend bought a house and moved.
But then, I'm also not everyone's cup of tea lol
Is this the lake Houston parkway area? If so it is extremely dead here. Just moved here and although I love the peace and quiet I hate the fact I'm far from all the business.

I'm late to the thread but you're on the right track about thinking twice.
It's the kind of community where people know too much about other people's business. A lot of them live, work, play and shop there. You're not going to get business from that community because people don't want to be seen going into an apartment complex or motel by their Pastor, Rabbi or their wife's yoga instructor.
The traffic situation on either West Lake Houston Pkwy off of BW8 or 1960 off of 59 makes it undesirable to go to for outsiders to hobby. It just takes too damn long to get there. I'm in regularly in the area of 45N and BW8 during the day. I can get to Westchase as quickly as I can get to WLH and 1960.
There are some apartments and motels popping up on BW between 59 and West Lake Houston that might be under served. It's fairly easily accessible. I don't know but the demand might be a little better there. There are a few providers who are regularly in the area IAH area which is just minutes away.
