Simply put. Who wants to go there? After the way they treated folks and tried to scam people out of
money with ZERO information to give to folks. Hell, folks were banned for asking anything pertaining to where their money was going etc

I don&#39;t appreciate them falsely logging into that site via different user names and sending out
buddy list invites, pretending to be * the person they&#39;re logged in as*
" wicked milf, Ralphey boy sent you a buddy list invite from eraps. Please log into eraps to approve
    his buddy list request."

This has been happening a lot and I&#39;ve asked certain Home2 members if they&#39;ve sent the invites via eraps
and I get the same disturbing answer. "NO WAY would I ever use eraps. Wasn&#39;t me that sent the request".

It&#39;s Deuce&#39;s and AngelImnot, ways of getting folks to falsely join a dead site with age old aspd threads
that they completely copied. They even copied the entire membership from aspd onto eraps.

    it should be spelled. ecraps!

One thing folks might want to do is change what passwords you used on aspd. Make sure you don&#39;t
use them elsewhere. For all we know the Admin had access to that data too.

I dropped by there and it was deader than a doornail. No surprise. In addition to the problems Wicked Milf mentioned:

They&#39;ve got 2 month old information. Nothing current. They took along time by internet standards to set up shop.

The last thing anybody who ever went to ASPD remembers is that stupid paranoid "zero-tolerance no nudity policy" for any avatars, ads or posts. They changed their PG-13 policy by starting some dumb "boobies for beads" posting contest to try and get whoever might drop in to stick around. But the old memory lingers for most so why would they go to what they think is going to be a PG-13 site?

The other old memory that lingers is all the rants, threats that went out basically to everyone, even by Angelimnot. That and some bannings of people that sometimes just asked a question. Weird thing about that site; Fiery jade, Amber&#39;s mom is listed as banned. Between the memories of all the old bile and that curious development, it gives a bad feeling to anyone tired of drama.

People have moved on. Why go there if people have settled into posting on other boards and are feeling comfortable elsewhere? I don&#39;t think most people feel like checking 4 or 5 different boards to keep up with things. I think they settle on 2 or 3 and stick with that. To get them to drop one and add eraps to their list, eraps has to offer something but without many posters and 2 month old (soon to be 3 month old) info they have jackshit to offer anybody. less than jackshit, actually.

eraps is not ASPD ..... it&#39;s a new commercial enterprise that&#39;s goal is not to keep ASPD alive but to generate income for the new owners utilizing ASPDs&#39; data base ...... it&#39;s just another new board with little new or unique to offer in a very competitive P4P internet world ......... Angelimnot and her mother pretty much alienated every long time valuable member and most of the competent staff with the "screaming shrew" approach to management. I&#39;ve heard the grief defense used to try and excuse the behavior but really, most of us have had to deal with death and or grief and how many resort to ranting and threatening? In placing a value on a business there&#39;s a provision for good will, eraps value in that category is pretty close to zero.

eraps may or may not generate enough interest to survive but really, who cares at this point. Now there are excellent alternatives like eccie and soon home2. eraps will discover that it wasn&#39;t the structure or the data base that made ASPD ....... it was the people, both staff and members. ck set the tone and a lot of very bright and very competent staff kept the boards a safe, knowledge rich and interesting place to hang out. They lost ck, gfe, Lap, St. Chris, Big C, hambone, cpi, Eli ....... so many quality folks (I&#39;ve left out a lot) who were what made ASPD. They lost them with their demanding attitudes and lack of respect and there&#39;s no reason to belive that they&#39;ll be able to replace that core group with anything close. I for one got embarrased being a part of it all but stayed to help the infrequent visitors and part time providers find alternate sites to land on. I will visit every once in awhile to look through old memories but it&#39;s going to take awhile till the bad taste finally goes away. They have a long uphill battle to overcome their brief stewardship presiding over ASPDs&#39; demise.

I think the "buddy list" doesn&#39;t mean any kind of friendship. I think "buddy list" puts the person you request into the list of ID&#39;s that pops up on the buddy list page for quick access to. For instance, I might put "BigJimmy" into my buddy list because I think he&#39;s a pimp and want to see who he&#39;s promoting and stay the heck away from those ladies.

Actually I received one of these from a well known local Provider the day before yesterday. I held off acting on it because I was concerned about the validity of the message and its source. I contacted her and lo and behold ==> she did in fact extend that invitation. As noted above by GneissGuy - the link took me directly to my "buddy list" which is still viable on eraps as "harvested" from aspd files as of the 9:00 PM dissolution one evening. Like all of you above -- I too share the same feelings and emotions; however, very little else about my time on their staff.

If the folks that migrated the data from old ASDP system to the new ERAPS system were able to save all of those threads and stuff they should have also been able to save the BCD status of the members who had it at the time the migration took place. When I inquired about my BCD status disappearing the moderator who responded simply told me that “this is not ASPD, this is ERAPS.” No other explanation was given. So it appears that not only did they save the posts from old system they also saved the arrogant, condescending staff as well.

    Hi,

I haven&#39;t received one yet....but maybe it&#39;s do to that fact I deleted all information (i think) from my account before it went down....

Eveyone should also remember when aspd went down 2008 most of us got an email similar to that from eccie, well, at least I did...I never acted on back then because I didn&#39;t know what was going on and now I did join but am very puzzled about what is really going on in this cyber world provider board business.

    And to me,
    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>
tcreative...that it wasn&#39;t the structure or the data base that made ASPD ....... it was the people, both staff and members.[/b]
to build trust is the utmost importance to me in my hobby life. I&#39;m not here for BS and games and lies (been there done all that)...I just want to have fun and am thankful that I can provide a roof over my head by doing something I enjoy.

There are so many trying to make a $ off providers and hobbiest it is really getting out of hand if you ask me.....but such is life. Seeing things like these emails takes away the fun when we have to try to figure out all the drama to avoid..aheheheh...I call those paperwork days...aheheheh...if you check whois...you will find out what sites they are all connected too....start with aspd...and then check the others...it takes some patients but you will be surprised.

    Sincerely,
    Velvet

I did not state anything of the kind as to the buddy list relating to any kind of *friendship*.
As usual. Please read what was posted. Many of us do know what the Buddy list entails (in general).
It&#39;s not hard to figure out. We don&#39;t need a lecture on it.

My point regarding the ERAPS buddy list is that the *buddy list invites* ARE sent under FALSE pretenses by the 2 owners
of eraps. Logging into their own site and sending out those invites (under former handles of aspd member) (an entire membership that they copied to erpas. Emails and all. ) Which entails that YOU have to log into eraps to accept said buddy list invitation.
It&#39;s a scam to GET folks to participate on their fake aspd hobby board.
Log into that site at your own risk.

    LMAO!

Mokoa...don&#39;t you remember in the last moments of aspd? They were too busy, trying to save the "Titanic," to address all the legitimate questions from those of us who were thinking about donating. With all those Einsteins over there...it doesn&#39;t surprise me at all. You probably made them mad &#39;cause you interupted them when they were humming their mantra, "Aum...this is not ASPD, this is ERAPS, Aum." :P

I cleared my e-mail inbox of those invites. No beef with anybody at eraps. I just prefer not to lay any tracks over there, and I don&#39;t care to go lurking some place where I wouldn&#39;t expect to participate. Some of the providers might feel differently about it if it&#39;s another venue to carry their ads, which is fine.
    Trust yourself.

Yes, all of us who posed legitimate questions before dropping hard earned cash made them mad. Their responses reeked of arrogance and a condescending attitude.

I find it very disingenuous when the announcement posted by Deuce...

    http://www.eraps.net/announcement.php?f=720

States "We begin again with all that we had" and "We invite everyone to enjoy again what was thought to be lost" when in actuality that is simply not true.

And those off the deep end posts by Jade will linger in the memories of a lot of folks as a reminder of just how they have mutated into such an aberration.

If you don&#39;t want e-mail from there, go to the site, log in, and change your e-mail address to a throwaway yahoo account. Also change any AIM, twitter, web site entries, etc. Clean anything else you want from your profile.

Then, if you want, ask them to delete your account.
