YES...I did go. I got there around 9pm and was somewhat disappointed. It was more of a family dinner type vibe than music and dancing. The band/DJ was not playing anything and there wasn't really any talent their to speak of so I stayed maybe 10 minutes and bailed. Maybe it was too early but you mentioned between 8 to 10 pm was the time to be there. Probably just an off night. Will try something new again next Friday. nary a world about it being a hot dance place w/ muchas latinas bailando and a pickup place.
maybe the "cafe con leche" quartet was not playing that nite.
oh well, una noche otra vez.

i wont be there fri 8/23 as i'll be in san antonio visiting la familia. hopefully the following week.
last nite at the "Evolution of a Sonero" play/concert (at latino cultural center), i heard that on sundays at 6pm or so, the Statler downtown dallas has a good DJ.
