Hi Miss ~P, not sure if your asking that night or from the initial diagnosis of ED....I'd taken Viagra about 2 or 3 hrs before goin' blind both times, but I'd been taking it for ED for about 2 years. Took about 15 minutes to recover both times.
^sorry, meant from the initial diagnosis.
i've heard some men say they'd die a happy man in some good pussy so i guess going blind temporarily isn't so bad. lol
I saw the word, "Universal" and came running.lol
But it was about music, (sigh). I do play background music for my clients
I have one other really unusual side effect: Viagra takes 25-30 minutes to kick in, some guys are clock watchers. Me? I look in the mirror. I shave my head, there is a surface vein on my head right behind my left ear, normally it's not noticeable. When the Viagra is working the vein pops up prominently. Ex girlfriend said it looked like a pop-up Thankgiving turkey timer. *ding* Dinner is ready!
Yep that's b/c ejaculation and climax/orgasm are two separate things. A man can even have a radical prostatectomy and achieve an erection after healing. It will depend on how much nerve damage was caused in the operation or via the infection/cancer.
When the prostate is gone the man will no longer secrete semen. Semen is not sperm. Semen is a mixture of sperm, many proteins, acids, prostatic fluid (PSA), water, seminal vesicle fluid, etc... Only about 5-10% at most is sperm when a man ejaculates. It's very possible for a man to ejaculate an enormous load, say 6-7ml (about 1+ teaspoon - normal is 2-3ml or ~.5 teaspoon or so), that only has 20million sperm (very low borderline nearing infertile range) and another man may release a normal amount 2-3 milliliters but it has 175million sperm (highly fertile - assuming all are normal shape & good motility).
A man after the prostatectomy may still have sperm created by his testes but the seminal vesicles are removed as part of the prostatectomy. Normally when a man ejaculates his seminal vesicles will release the sperm and mix with the release of fluid from the prostate. Since the seminal vesicles are gone the sperm cannot release nor will the prostate make any semen fluids because it's either compromised or gone. The body will reabsord the spermatozoa and he will create more. A man at this point in his life is for all practical purposes, infertile.
However, that doesn't mean he can't achieve an erection or experience climax as those are two different things. He will still experience that feeling just like any other man but his body cannot/does not produce the seminal or prostatic fluids and the sperm doesn't release from his testes to the seminal vesicles (bc they are gone too) so the sperm just get reabsorbed into the bloodstream and the testes will make more (though they will never be used to make a baby again short of using a fertility clinic to retrieve spermatozoa manually). But, yes, he still experiences the sensation of ejaculating (just nothing comes out). This is not really that odd. Even a young man who ejaculates too often in a short time span will experience a dry ejaculation once his tank is empty.

Mathguy, you soo smart and genuinely want people to understand things that would help gap any confusion. Knowledge is kryptonite to success
Spell check made sooo into soon. Oops
That's called a "drygasm" Scared the hell out of me the first time it happened. Partner accused me of "faking it".
I'm older and sometimes I work just fine and sometimes I don't. I can't take the pills because they have a tendency to dilate blood vessels where I don't need it. The needle works just fine.
If you talk about it with guys they mostly say "Hell No".....that's pretty common. I would think lots of guys here use the needle but few would tell you on an open board.
The best thing about the needle is it ALWAYS works. It also has no side affects. 10 to 15 minutes after taking the shot a girl can just touch you a little and bingo....you can hang 3 wet towels on it.
The only time I've ever had a problem with it was the first time I used it. The Doc pre-loaded a syringe for me to try and told me only to try a little bit the first time because he wasn't sure what dosage
I really needed. Like a fool I worried a little bit wouldn't be enough and emptied the syringe. I ended up not having enough skin and it hurt like hell. Turned out a little bit was just right.
It's also cheap. Two vials cost me $115 and I get about 20 to 25 shots out of them.
The idea of where you give yourself the shot seems to scare guys. It's a tiny needle very similar to an insulin type syringe. I can hardly feel it.
By the way.....taking it doesn't make you any less of a man.
