The Pearl Brewery complex is now considered one of the hippest sites in Texas. Just north of Downtown. The Southtown District just south of Downtown is packed with art and trendy food and drink.

You do have a point. The SA Zoo, Brackenridge Park train, and especially the Japanese Tea Garden are all should-do’s in SA. If they’d only revive Sunken Garden Theater. Saw Dylan, Santana, Grand Funk, Ringo Starr, Iron Maiden, etc. etc.

The King William District/Blue Star Arts complex is a hip place to walk around, especially First Friday, if you're here this weekend. Several excellent restaurants, Brewpubs, art galleries, street vendors and more stuff.
