Delayed Notifications of Messages
I've been noticing, over the past week or so, that I am not getting email notifications of messages coming to my OH2 inbox, until hours after they have been sent.
Just in example, I missed a lunchtime appointment today. :(
The gentlemen sent me the PM at 9:27am. But I didn't receive an email, letting me know I had a message, until 12pm.
Just giving a heads up, as this is may be an issue others are having with the system.

Hmmm, mine come in immediately, and no other problems have been reported to my knowledge, so far. Will ask the chief to look for a gremlin! Thanks.

Thanks Fancy!!
I did just notice that the time stamps on my post, here, are an hour off.
But still see the lag in email notification versus the time the PM was sent.
I hope this can be resolved. :)
Hope you are doing well, too!!

Your latest ads are in Austin, so using that as your location, your profile should be set to GMT -6:00 Central (US & Canada), Mexico City. Can be changed in the My Settings box to the left on your PM screen page, My Account, General Settings, then the big box under Date & Time Options, Time Zone.
While there, under Messaging & Notification, see Private Messaging, uncheck and then recheck the circle for Receive Email Notification of new Private Messages, just to give it a little nudge.

The time lags have been noted from time to time over the past few years, and I know tech support was made aware.
But it has never been a broad issue.
And you should properly mark the "DST" tags in your profile settings as well.
Not sure on my end how time settings could or would affect mail delivery, but, the possibility might be that during very heavy PM system traffic the mail server either hiccups or backs up. But that should be a very rare happenstance since the biggest batch is 10 PMs at time.
But, issue is again reported, of course.
