Would you rather hobby near home or away from home?

I live iin a very rural area. No providers within hours of me, and not many civilians I would want to nail here either.

With that being said, I work away from home most of my life. But where I work, same as where I live. Nothing to even look at.

So, I usually try to find a route to work that passes through a place where the hobby is somewhat active. Then I have to find a spot to drop off co-workers, like a bar or casino.
Have an hour of fun, then pic up co-workers and head to work or head home.
I usually play on the way home, not on the way to work, after a few weeks of not seeing a lady, I can bone up better.

Near will shorten the time (driving time) so you are less likely to get a call asking where are you, particularly for those of us with a SO and/or families.
If you are playing during work hours would be less time away from work, if you play after work, less “unaccounted” time in between the office and home, etc.
About running into a provider I probably wouldn’t even notice as I’m always minding my own business and rarely look at people faces unless in a social environment.
