Responding to ISOs - Men thinking they dont need to send refs

Why do gents think if you reply to their ISO that it some how means they dont need to be screened ??

This has happened several times.

Most of us respond to multiple Isos if they pertain to the provider. So a random text is just that a random text. Unless you give your screenname. Your iso doesnt mean you're good to go. You still need 2 refs to see me.

Don't get me wrong, I value everyone's safety, but you have to admit that the hobby has become very administratively overburdening... it takes all the fun out of it. Just my 2 cents.

I don't think the ladies are asking for any more screening information than what they were a year or two ago. It just seems more of them are taking the time to check/verify them, instead of just taking a guys word they're being truthful. I don't see that as a negative at all. There are more stringent laws now. We all have to look out for ourselves.

(e.g., a request for an incall in the energy corridor and the Provider's incall is located in the NRG area) ...Your iso doesnt mean you're good to go. You are correct!! You still need 2 refs to see me. Nobody should have any issues with that. Nothing new here.

IMHO, if someone does not want to be screened, they should go hit up some SWs.

Because there's always a provider who'll put herself at risk and see him.

It's snake season. Usually the risky behavior continues until one of them gets bit
and then we'll get to read all about it in the alerts section.

Until then make a mental note of who doesn't want to be screened and carry on.

For people who don't hobby regularly, it can be a bit frustrating to drop back into the Newbie bucket because they don't have three different providers (who are newbie friendly) willing to serve as references after three months. I migrated over from Eccie, and haven't gotten registered here yet in part because I'm a lazy SOB but also because I'm just not grinding though TheSlayer levels of providers.

I can only imagine the bullshit providers gave to deal with, though. So it's hard to complain. Still frustrating that we can't just legalize this shit already and be done with the games.

I concur on all counts. For example, Nevada has a workable business model that counties in other states could impliment in a bespoke manner. Decriminalization of some forms of sex work might be a possible backlash against new laws with sufficient lobbying. On the other hand, screenings are probably a permanent best practice for companions and their admirers hobbyists even if some forms of sex work are decriminalized.

I disagree and forget nothing. Mr. Patrick is not immortal but merely a politician and no spring chicken at that. There is a valid argument for the decriminalization of certain drugs as well as some forms of sex work. Total prohibition is rarely cost effective or efficient because many humans will not obey laws deemed unfair even under penalty of death or life in prison. On the other hand, decriminalization if properly implimented can be cost effective, provide an additional state revenue stream as well as provide an more efficient deterrent against some forms of illicit trafficking.
