I know... for a fact... that some girls deliberately, do not post ads... but rely upon reviews and word of mouth to do their advertising for them. Yes... backchanneling works great, to spread the good... or bad word. But all the board lurkers have to go by, are the posted reviews. Therein, lies the deficiency here. I am not criticizing "Home2".... I'm just pointing out what it isn't.... and cannot be.... yet!

Big C and Seadog.......I can't argue with what either of you have said. However, my point was that I've never been a big poster, I didn't need to be. I've NEVER posted an Ad on any of the boards, I've just always allowed my reviews to speak for themselves and word of mouth/referrals through backchannel. Home2 is a nice temporary alternative... however, now that ASPD is gone, so are my ASPD reviews. Therefore, I haven't been getting the lurker/ASPD client directly from home2. Luckily, I didn't have all my "eggs in one basket" and my business hasn't really suffered. But the great news is that after this week that should all change!!!! :P Thanks guys!!!!!

One last thing, please understand that I'm posting this from an Arkansas point of view, where there has been very little activity here at home2. Only three reviews total in that area!!!!!!
I suppose it does happen on occasions, but in all my years of hobbying I have yet to have even one lady ask me where I heard about her from.....Not even in my early days of hobbying before anyone ever heard of BIG C.....
I'm going to say this again here.....ASPD, home2, TBD, TER and other escort boards do not have the purpose of finding dates for anyone.....What I said was that this board is serving its purpose and that purpose is just like the other boards that I've named which is to provide a place for members of the hobbying community (providers and hobbyists alike) to be able to gather and communicate with each other.....Now, several boards have been around much longer than home2 has been around and their membership is much greater than home2's membership and the ladies posting on those boards with their ads are going to get much more activity from those boards than they are going to get from a board that's only been in existence for a few months.....But, when someone says that the ladies aren't getting anyone from this board to see them I think that's completely false because we do have several cities where there are reviews posted so that means that someone from this board is seeing ladies on this board.....Are people getting the same amount of people from home2 that they were getting from ASPD.....Well, that's not possible because of the factors that I meantioned earlier.....But is this board serving the purpose for which it was started.....I say it is because MOST of the members here were members on ASPD and when ASPD crashed this one was started so that the members of ASPD could have a place to meet and communicated until ASPD gets revived (and at this point no one knows when that will happen).....

Same here.......no one has seen me as Woody except for one girl, and she doesn't know me as my P411 profile as I normal do. I have been doing this since I was a member in nine years ago. So you might have seen this member and only thought you were seeing a lurker. In matter of fact if you asked me as my p411 profile if I post to the boards, the answer would be no, I like having a little privacy just like you girls do.
Just something to think about.
I've had the same concerns that the other girls do. If someone contacts me via email I might ask where they saw me to get a better idea of what board is working for me...if through P411, I don't. Now, I do still post ads on this board, although I have not seen anyone who openly said they were from here. Most tell me somewhere else. Recently in an ad I placed, I was told I could not list my reviews in it, as they were from another board. I did not consider that I was promoting the other board, but was trying to promote myself. Perhaps I am not the best at doing that, I'd love some pointers, as when someone does choose me, they are rarely disappointed.
Although, I am not a computer expert, I am literate...that said, I find this site hard to navigate. As of yet, I can't find the chat among other features. Will I continue to check it out and try to make it work? Yes, as ASPD was my first board and would have probably been my only...

Actually... I have to say... I like the software and features of this board MUCH more than the olde ASPD set! Very easy to post.... messages are easier.... the layout.... all we need is more content.... and history!! Sounds like we might have some spinner action, soon! B)

Seems the case and well over due!
The New Orleans section does seem to be picking up speed more then the other boards on this new ASPD site. Glad I found my way here! As a touring companion, it's great to learn about new cities. :)

Many of the ladies have echoed the same answer I gave in another thread on this board.
I recently visited New Orleans. And only 1 gentleman contacted me from here.
The others contacted from different sites.
It's not only that this site is a lot smaller & somewhat private. It's where the reviews are at that matters.
If the majority of hobbyist cannot see reviews here. Then they won't bother signing up and contacting the ladies through here.
They will stick to the open to the public/where the review are clear to see, sites.
And contact the ladies from those sites. And therefore the ladies are going to go where they majority of the hobbyist are. (make sense?)
Yes, it's a nice semi private board. But the reviews posted here of ladies. Hinder them to a good degree.
Only members of home2 get to see the reviews. Others cannot.
And if I'm correct. Men look at reviews to decide whether or not they wish to see a lady?
