Providers Not Using This BOARD?

Its not just the ladies looking for alternatives.........the gentleman are too.........myself included.

If the ladies are not here.............the dawgs will leave too.

Once you lose a customer.........its much harder to get them back.........the longer ASPD stays offline, the harder it will be to rebound
as people find alternatives.

i luv ya big c, but i have to disagree. when pretty much every provider registered here (or at least all the more vocal ones) has yet to have 1 date come from this place, who's purpose is it serving? once the ladies begin to vanish i don't think it's gonna turn into a hobbyist mingling place. no, i think that eventually the numbers (men and women) will dwindle & die out.

i still come here because feel like it's my duty as someone who is patiently & eagerly waiting for aspd to come back around, but honestly, it's a waste of time when you factor in what i get back from it, which is a big fat 0. i like being low volume, but this.... this is something else altogether!

I have offered what I believe to be solid, actionable feedback and have been told publicly "You are here as a courtesy" (dennisrn) & "home2....really was designed to help with Meet & Greets & Vouching...in some of the Texas Cities" (ck1942) (See "ask the staff" & "HDH" Boards).

Obviously my feedback is not valued, but I&#39;d encourage the ladies to continue to the offer it. You are more persuasive than me and there is strength in numbers

Hey DD, while I can&#39;t argue that this board doesn&#39;t have anywhere near the same effect for the ladies that ASPD had, I would have to disagree that the ladies have yet to have even 1 date come from here.....There are plenty of ladies that do post ads here, and there are gents here that read the ads and schedule with the ladies that are visiting their particular areas so I can&#39;t see how anyone can say that they don&#39;t get any dates from here.....And when I said that the board is serving its purpose I merely meant that it is giving us an alternative place to meet until the powers that be can get ASPD back up and running.....There are those who were (and still are) intent upon silencing ASPD so the idea was to create this supposedly temp site for us to gather and continue on until ASPD becomes active again.....Thus, I do believe that the board is serving its purpose.....That&#39;s not to say that we aren&#39;t all hoping and praying for ASPD to get it together and return, but until then, I guess this place will have to do.....

But, I do hear everyone&#39;s concerns and statements and we all know that the longer it takes for them to get back up, the harder it&#39;s going to be to get the members to return and stay.....That&#39;s pretty much a consequence that we&#39;ll have to live with, but I&#39;m sure the general populace will return, even if slowly but eventually.....

BTW, Des, you can&#39;t receive an answer to your question because we don&#39;t want to be promoting other boards around here, now more than ever with the problems ASPD has been having.....

Well we&#39;ve told you gents that this board is NOT serving its purpose and why. If you want to tell us that we are getting work when we know we&#39;re not, thats your right.

<span style="color:#000080">I think Kara hit the nail on the head.... as far as the problems the girls are seeing.... or not seeing, in the form of dates not coming from Home2. The "initial" "Home2 Existence/Invitation" message stated that only BCD members and providers were being invited. Many non BCD members who saw that message, have probably blown it off since then... and have never bothered to to try again. Since the non-posting, non-BCD, lurkers provided the majority of the girls&#39; business.... their absence is what de-values this new "Home2" site for the girls! The whole ASPD mess is quite a shame!!

And you seem to have missed the point that the purpose was to have a meeting place for providers and hobbyists while ASPD was down.....I never said you were getting as much work as what you were getting from ASPD.....We all know that&#39;s not the case because of the simple fact that there are not as many members here as there were on ASPD, and people don&#39;t even know this board exists like they did ASPD.....But, to say that you&#39;re not getting any work from here when I know that there are ladies getting work from here is simply untrue.....So, in your own words, if you want to diss this board and say that you&#39;re not getting any work here when I know that people are getting work here that&#39;s your right.....

And I&#39;m not naive enough to believe that if the ladies all go away that home2 will still be a viable board.....But, the fact that there are plenty of ladies who post on here and place ads here says that there are dates being made through here or they would already be gone.....&#39;Nuff said.

i get ur joke here but i want to point out that i was low volume before the crash. i don&#39;t want anyone to think that i meant it that way. like aspd crashing is responsible for my low volume-ness. (hey, if flavor flave can make up his own words so can i! lol!)

and i hear ya big c. i also wanted to point out that i don&#39;t only come here out of obligation to my duty as an aspd addict. i like to read the articles too ;)

....... but i still haven&#39;t had a date from here yet either. (just to throw that out there) not speaking for everyone, jus lil ol me. got my first serious inquiry today so that&#39;s possibly soon to change. i have high hopes though, which is why i continue to post ad&#39;s here.

And one more thing, if there were absolutely ZERO dates for the ladies coming from this site, then how do you explain that guys on this site are actually posting some reviews of the ladies that they&#39;ve met......No one ever said that the ladies are getting the same number of dates from home2 that they were getting from ASPD.....That would statistically be impossible because the membership on ASPD was/is more than 10 times what it is here on home2.....And there is no questioning the fact that ASPD&#39;s membership consisted mainly of lurkers and not posters there.....So it would stand to reason that the numbers from here would be dramatically less than what was there.....But it&#39;s just not feasible to state that you&#39;re not getting anything from here when the facts would show otherwise.....

Lots of good thoughts and ideas above.... and,

...originally, Home2 was conceived as a meeting place only for those folks who attend meet-n-greets as a space where they could communicate without "busybodies" and "do-gooders" and "haters" looking over shoulders...

Obviously we have come a long way due to the aspd crash and the 500-600 or so original social invite list members are now the minority since we opened the space

-- first to all known providers and bcd members at aspd

-- then to anyone else who was registered on aspd (but we didn&#39;t broadcast that per se) for the most part those referred by word of mouth (mouseclick/keyboard) and many new folks who had not a clue about aspd but who have been referred usually by providers who are members here.

Would we ever open up Home2 to a more broadly general audience?

Perhaps, but only if we are convinced aspd is never coming back, and I do know for a fact that the work&#39;s (works!) being done to get aspd into shape for a restoration. My patience, like that of anyone else, is not completely limitless, but I&#39;ve been here (aspd) for so long almost 8 years, that I certainly can stick it out (here on H2) for awhile longer w/o completely giving up on aspd and doing what needs to be done.

All of the ASPD data (well, maybe only 99 pct) bases are there, intact,because I have seen and operated them, but the hackers did a fine job on scrambling the way the board is constructed and how data is presented in forums, etc. And, reports that the hackers stashed some slime in there when and if aspd ever was restored whole meant extensive scrubbing, rebuilding, and installing new hardware and software.

No one on the aspd staff is a dedicated programmer, and security considerations dictate that no member, no matter how professional, will ever be given access to the innards. So the boss is using folks she absolutely trusts to have zero hobby connection, and so on.

All that said.... I&#39;m still seriously hoping that we get back to basics -- meaning ASPD! and really soon, because as some of y&#39;all have notated, Home2 ain&#39;t aspd. We don&#39;t have bcd reviews, for example, one of the prime attractions (imo) that makes aspd one of the premier review boards.

We do at Home2 have dynamic portion(s) of the aspd communities, and we could, if we were to open up the door a bit more, have way more. We could also be flooded which for those of you who have suffered those cata-strokes in N.O., for example, know we need gentle filling not floodgates broken down.

In fact, we could with a little bit of preparation, open much of H2 to the general &#39;net cruisers, and make much of the current common areas into more private areas into which newcomers could "graduate" or earn entry via a vouching process.

For example, all provider ads and all reviews could be open; coed forums would be closed. Welcome Wagons could be where the "open" and the "closed" portions mingle and also in the reviews and alerts. That&#39;s a riff from the "social group" planning page.

Rome (not Home) wasn&#39;t built in a "day," nor can ASPD be rebuilt "overnight" - and Noah labored mightily to spend his 40 days and 40 nights in a boat littered (some possibly gave birth) with critters, and I don&#39;t have a clue who had to clean up all theat sh*t, either!

I&#39;m prepared to spend my 40 days with y&#39;all, and even more than that as long we get ASPD back to what we know it to be and to what we hope it can be with the repairs and improvements.

(btw, are there any red-headed ladies out there who might have a little space for an ancient mariner in their "cabin?" j/k well, maybe not!)

So, as you can see, we are somewhat prepared to pick up the slack (and the pace) if that&#39;s what needs to be done, either here at Home2 if aspd never returns or somewhere else if that is what is meant to be.

"Home2", for however many reasons, might be a nice place to "gather and meet".... but has been very little help in being able to provide business to the girls. The lack of a review database is just one more reason. It&#39;s only natural, that they will explore other, more valuable resources until ASPD can cum back..... IF it cums back! THAT is the Catch-22 they face.... how much time do they spend, paying attention to "Home2", when most of their business is coming from other venues?

Anger should only be directed toward whoever the assholes were, who bombed ASPD!! Talk about Limp Dicks!!

Neither ShelbySinful or Junesetx realize that much of the communication, referrals, etc. goes on "backchannel", via PM&#39;s or emails between the members and NOT in the forums.

I have not had the pleasure of meeting either lady, but I think you would both be surprised to know that I have received and passed on several recommendations for each of you!

Shelby, just this week I have had one inquiry by PM about you and a glowing recommendation by phone & email from someone else..

I know with absolute certainty that both of you ladies are benefiting from this board - you just aren&#39;t aware of it.

I also want to address the question of "bogus" reviews. Ladies: the lurkers are (or were) here BECAUSE of the reviews and the discussion forums. You all bemoan the fact that there aren&#39;t any lurkers here, but we will NEVER have any lurkers unless we have reviews!

Whether you like it or not, it IS the BCD comments - the "dirty details" - that guys want to know about before plunking down their hard-earned cash.

Something else for the ladies to think about - If someone posts a bogus review and another dawg sees the same lady and has a vastly different experience - he WILL be called out on the board and the veracity of his review questioned. Everybody here relies on the word of the other guys that have seen the girl to tell the truth. So called "chest beating" usually only injects a bit of humor into the account. For the most part, our reviews are treated VERY seriously by guys who are trying to decide just where they are going to spend their money.

And, again ladies, DO NOT forget that we ARE the largest group of serious players in this area that I know of. On other boards you never really know who is serious and who isn&#39;t. On ASPD we&#39;re ALL serious, committed hobbyists with a vested interest in staying safe and protecting our collective reputation.
