Providers Not Using This BOARD?

WHY are PROVIDERS seemingly NOT using this Board as much as they should be?
Comments from other Hobbyists?
Comments from PROVIDERS who do regularly use this Board!
Comments from PROVIDERS who do't and who happen to see this!

There are a few reasons...

Some have moved on to other boards.

They don't get the dates from this board that they did from the old aspd board.

This board doesn't have the lurkers that the old aspd board had. The lurker's were where we got most of our dates from.

Some may still think that there was a problem with aspd and it's crash.

Some didn't like the way it had become a boys club and have moved on...the crash and length of time aspd has been down didn't help matters. Being that the women have bills to be paid, they went where the dates where.

Some provider's want changes and don't plan on coming back till they see them.

Those are just a few of the reasons I've been hearing from the ladies. Some just got tired of waiting for aspd to come back. They don't consider this home I guess.
Anyone else have any ideas?

Of course the women have been talking amongst themselves. It doesn't mean they won't come back. Right now they are too busy scrambling to make ends meet, they aren't worried about aspd. Some have learned never to put all their eggs in one basket...a lesson they won't forget in a hurry.

Maybe not all providers on ASPD know about this board. Like June said, they might have moved on to other boards depending on what message they saw on ASPD's homepage. Maybe they looked on the day when it didn't HAVE the message about this other board. For example, today it's only been showing this message: Vital hardware upgrades are in progess. Please be patient. If they saw something like that which doesn't mention any hope of any alternative site, I can see why they may have moved on.

Maybe some of those ladies don't check the homepage for ASPD daily like I do.

But I'm using this board. This is like "moving on to other boards", so this is still another way to advertise.

True!!!True!!! I used to get alot of lurkers from aspd...but have not seen but one guy off this one...But my biz has boomed on other boards since the crash!

True escg and dallas4u, those are the things I've been hearing from the other ladies.
Not many women are getting dates from this site. That won't keep them here for long. They will move on to other sites.
I'm still telling people with bcd access about this site! They had no idea it was even here. If the guys don't know the women won't either.

Since the ladies that have spoken have stated pretty much all the reasons that I could think of, I see no reason to go into it and just re-hash what they've already said.....

However, I just couldn't pass up this opportunity to be under June since it looks like this is the only way I'll get a chance like this.....LOL

June covered it great - but I think first and foremost is knowing that the lurkers are not here... In my case, and for many girls I have talked to -- Lurkers make up the core base of our clientele/unconventional suitors. As a general rule, they do not review or post... duh.. silly me, I guess that's obvious... hence the nomenclature... But Lurkers did go to ASPD for their due diligence and visiting updates/posts.....

I thought Lurkers were not invited to this board? Was that just initially? I was still under the impression that we could not share/invite lurkers, only paying BCD and reviewers? if that has changed - I'm with June, I would like to at least let a few of the lurker clients I have know as they have been asking about any other boards...

What made aspd so good for us ladies was that it was an open board. The guys could reach us ladies. I know for a fact that the women got most of their buiz from the lurkers and WK&#39;s.
This board cuts them out of the picture...thus the women too.
This board being a private board limits itself and severly handicaps the ladies. Thats why we don&#39;t care about this board...it&#39;s no good to us. We would like to know when the old aspd will be back up. That board worked as far as it got the lurkers and ladies in touch.
This board, well it&#39;s killing the ladies and well, they&#39;ll leave if they don&#39;t get dates.
These are some of the choices us ladies are facing...what site will feed me, what site will be fair, what site will be fun. So there you go guys, not being mean or ugly but we had said one day it would come to this. What do the guys do when the ladies leave because they aren&#39;t making the money they need?
Take a look around you guys, the ladies know that there are other sites out there. They&#39;ve had to go to them. What does this site have to offer us? You look at the big picture and tell us what can you do for us?
Welcome to a provider&#39;s life.
On other sites we&#39;re the new girls and we&#39;re getting the dates. We&#39;re also passing along to the other ladies the sites that are good ones to go to.
Are they going to open the old aspd back up? Is it a thing of the past? Is that what this board is, the new aspd?

I didn&#39;t know you to have BCD to get on this site.I thought it was word of mouth. I told a provider about it Monday and I see now that have an ad up.
I hope I didn&#39;t do anything wrong.

There are 2 guys in this thread that didn&#39;t have BCD on ASPD.

Yes he can, as can others w/o BCD standing. I don&#39;t have BCD standing. Read CK1942&#39;s update section here or I think the footer in any of his posts. Basically he needs to use the same email address he used to register at ASPD as well as the same handle and be "vouched for" -- which I think in practice means being an established member in good standing on the old Board and having someone tell him about this place. The key is someone needs to be able to reach out to him outside of ASPD (e.g. PM won&#39;t work)

Basically, you have to be invited here and then once you register your registration has to be approved.....It doesn&#39;t require that you had BCD on ASPD, and it actually doesn&#39;t even require that you were a member of ASPD (but that certainly does help).....I have approved several new members who weren&#39;t on ASPD.....It was done this way to keep the ASPD haters from logging on here and crashing this site the way they did with ASPD.....This site was intended to be a temporary place for us to be able to meet and still communicate while ASPD was down.....Didn&#39;t think the site would be down as long as it&#39;s been down, but so far this board is serving its purpose.....

Well, that&#39;s out of my hands and I can&#39;t give a definitive answer, but if I had to venture a guess (and it would only be a guess and nothing else), I would say that it&#39;s probably not going to "Open UP" any and for the reasons that I stated above.....They&#39;re trying to keep the hatemongers and drama magnets on the outside so that the rest of us can have a place to meet and play and connect in a peaceful and adult manner.....I&#39;m still of the belief and mindset that ASPD will be back again and we&#39;ll all have a much better and stronger meeting place.....Maybe I&#39;m just being naive but I&#39;m hoping that within a matter of days that this whole threat will be moot.....
