I can curse in Gaelic. Pog mo thoin, cul tona! ("Kiss my arse, dickhead!")

I love ALL dogs. (Shhhh... Don't tell the chihuahuas!)

I'm one generation removed from the Irish sod on my father's side, but my mother's granddaddy was full Cherokee. I strive for patience and calmness, but with that temperamental genetic mixture, when I go on the warpath, better round up the wagon trains!

I am just like my father and his favorite oldest child. The gypsy in me loves to travel. My spirit animal is a cat, it represents my personality.

I am the oldest of six, and the only one of the bunch that doesn’t live in Houston. Three brothers, two sisters, all still alive. I’m half Irish, but don’t know how to curse in Gaelic. Cat person. Devout atheist. Staunch liberal. Army veteran. Lived in Alaska for six years, wish I could go back. Married twice. The first time for 16 years, yielding four children, all of whom live within 1.5 hours of me. Second marriage is almost 29 years...I’m still on my honeymoon. Three grandchildren, the youngest having just turned one. Never learned how to milk a cow or pluck a chicken, but I can play guitar and chess.
