What are you truly happy for?

So recently after the death of my son, I've started to ponder and wonder what the real things are in life... I used to think it was a relationship with the man, just one man. But all of a sudden things became very clear to me that our relationship with the man will come and go. the most important thing that I'm happy for is my family and my kids mainly my kids...but to all the gentleman that I've become friends with I just want to tell you all thank you you've been so important to me and most instrumental in my life! People don't always understand the hobby, but sometimes we make very good friends so I want to tell all of my sweet wonderful boyfriends thank you for helping me get through this. And I would just like to pick your brains and no what makes you happy?

Jameson, chihuahuas, a radio, a rack of ribs, and lighting my BBQ on the porch of my place, sitting with a drink and watching the wee woofs circle the smoking pit like wolves waiting for the all-you-can-eat buffalo buffet to open, and seeing the fireflies come out of the woods to blink "bye bye" to the sun and "welcome" to the moon. Simple pleasures.

Very grateful for friends I've made in the Hobby, too. There are a few special gents I've known for over 5 years now, and one very lovely fine fellow who has been kindly seeing me for over a decade! Thank you, sassy sirs, for the memories, and making maintenance of the Irish Chihuahua Refuge possible.

My heart aches for any parent who has lost a child. I cannot imagine any worse pain. I am so sorry for you.

As for what makes me happy...

My health..absent that nothing else matters. Modern medical knowledge rocks!
My family, my wife, my children, their children, and the extended crew of misfits
My friends, both in and out of the hobby
A feeling of financial security, something I’ve not always had
My upcoming retirement, though I may also have to retire from my hobby shenanigans
A relatively stable environment around me. When I read about the tribulations of others, I feel so sorry for them, and so fortunate for myself and my loved ones
Lastly, this fantastic hobby and the people involved. The hobby and all the wonderful women I’ve met have helped me feel young again. Thank you all.

To answer your question. Many of the nice providers on here make me happy. Not just the obvious bits, but getting to know them, their stories, their quirks. I enjoy it. Food helps too but im on a diet.

I'm sorry you lost your son my beautiful lady. Nothing can hurt so much. For me, what I'm thankful for...all of you beautiful women who give a part of yourselves (time and intimacy) with me. I'm thankful to be alive each day to get the possible opportunities to spend with you lovely ladies
