I'm curious as to why you would break a nail. Were you scrubbing that hard. Wouldn't a regular bathroom cleaner take care of it? Or something with bleach?

I understand what CV is saying about seeing the red run down the tub but with some dilution that should go away.
Actually, I'd think that rinsing the urine right away(thereby diluting it) with treated city water which is going to have a certain level of chlorine in it would take care of the disinfection part.
I don't disagree that it's gross leaving it standing and I also don't disagree with TR in that we've probably all done it. Sounds like the dude's biggest mistake was just not making sure it was rinsed out thoroughly. Letting it sit there for you to deal with was kind of a dick move.
