Sensual,

I've been waiting for an opportunity to type that...

If you can get to the header information for the mail message you received, almost always the originating ip will be listed. It is possible he used an anonymizer, but most perv's are idiots so it is worth a shot. What sort of email client do you have? If you are using gmail, when you have the message open click on the message options down arrow (next to the reply link) and select "show original". That will open the message in a text format with all the routing info included. It is fairly obvious what is the header portion of the message and where the message body begins. If you want you can copy the header section and PM it to me and I will help you decode it.

Once you have the ip you can do some lookups to get a general idea of where the perv might be connecting from, but it isn't always perfect. For example, anyone using AOL shows up as coming from one place in the eastern US. It is useful info though because then you know who to contact to assist you in dealing with the issue. Most ISP's do not want a client that is harrasing anyone else and will assist you in addressing the matter. I had to do it myself on numerous occasions. Almost as much fun as tracking down child pornographers on your network. Yeah, it happens. And they are always so dumb...
