    Gov Shut Down

    Wonder if the shut down has affected the providers business? Lot of Gov employees in OKC.

    I am sure that it is and will affect some business. I have yet to notice anything thus far... had to break some hearts last week to stay low volume, but that's just part of it.
    I restocked some of my Wine, my Spiced Rum, and found some cute V-day wine cups. We can drink through the shut down....Bottoms up!

    One of the largest federal employers in this particular area is Dept of Defense. They're fully funded through FY19; i.e., no shutdown for them.

    There are roughly two million federal employees. Only about eight-hundred-thousand are affected.

    U.S. Marshals are currently working without pay. They're still out there.

    Call it Crazy or Optimistic...

    I dont think theres anything to worry about.. I really look at all of it as a positive opportunity for the ladies and gents to step OUR game up. We cant worry about what they MIGHT do...All we can do is OUR BEST to Protect OUR WORLD...

    just my unsolicited opinion...

    I have to agree with ST.
    I don't really think it weighs heavily upon the hobby.

    Was all set to start a new job with Govt (and rejoin the hobby after holiday hiatus). Looking more like Spring at the earliest before I get back to having some fun :-{
