This site serves it&#39;s purpose, but it&#39;s just not the at home feeling of the main site.

Some of the work that needs to be done cannot be done while the site is connected to the world. I imagine that is why the plug has been pulled for now.

Thank you for working hard to repair the site and giving us another place to play while our big playground is being fixed.

Speaking from experience, some of the issues with the main site seem so bad from the user perspective, that I know it had to be taken offline so that the problems can be fixed. I know that they&#39;re dong their best to repair them as expediently as possible.

It would be nice if they would tell us what they did or what they are doing during downtime. Nothing very specific, but at least an idea would be nice.

Well... the P seems to be "sleepy" again... Inaccessible to me last night & this morning. :o

I&#39;m cool with it. Whatever is being done certainly needs to be done given all of the performance issues of late.

Just a couple of thoughts...

1. If the outage of last night / today was "scheduled", was that information posted someplace & I just missed it?

2. Any chance that, upon completion of the patches/upgrades/maintenance, the P will look/feel more like THIS site. I&#39;m finding I prefer this... other than the fact I can&#39;t figure out how to browse invisible, that is!

Tired old ck1942 is busy validating members and trying to learn all the settings for this electronic creature. And, with a little planning and luck, perhaps "contributing" a bit to the local economy later today, too. Brand new member in SA needs a helping, er, hand.
