What a way to start the social year!!!

Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed our new very private, very comfy venue to help us kick off the new social year. 48 gents and 28 ladies made for a nice sized crowd with lots of conversation, lots of interaction.

You gents that didn't come out missed the opportunity to meet some of our very hot visitors, some very hot new ladies, and our very hot local ladies. Ladies, if you missed this one, 48 gents were there looking to meet you.

We do hope to continue using this venue as we heard nothing but positive comments from those in attendance. The only way can do this and continue to enjoy the privacy and discretion is if we keep that location to ourselves. Please do not reveal our location to anyone. Anyone having a need to know will be informed through an inviation to join us next time. We are already planning the next time. If you missed this one, watch for the announcements for future socials.

Again, a big thanks to CK1942, our host at the venue, and all who attended. An even bigger thanks to the SYT who got the ball rolling by asking a simple question some weeks ago.

Truly a great start to 2009 for Austin.

And the way a meet and greet ought to be... folks breaking into small groups to visit and network.

The chatter seemed to indicate a repeat at this venue would be highly regarded, so the social committee will eplore that - possibly for March. Please indicate in this forum your thoughts on that.

Wunnerful to meet so many new faces and put that face with the Avatars on aspd, which, btw, is running today very well and lets hope that continues.

I had a fabulous time & was so glad to see such a great turnout! :) This was the best social ever, IME. Everyone seemed very relaxed & there was plenty of room to move around. The privacy factor helps & I&#39;m sure feedback is good. *waiting for connection on aspd so I can see new comments from today*

The venue was outstanding (and yes, my vote is to do it again), the ladies were wonderful, and the overall hospitality and camraderie could not have been better. Several of our Austin Adorables were there, along with a few newcomers who undoubtably will become Adorables with time.

Thanks very much for the glowing reviews of the venue folks. It was truly our pleasure to be able to offer the space. I met, (and revised a few of my opinions) of the people from the ASPD site. It was fun and we appreciate the decorum, manners, and attitude of everyone that attended. Based on the comfort of everyone, I&#39;ll definitely offer our place for future parties.
It&#39;s up to the group, CK, Rountuit and the ladies as to when it happens again. We have to give Kat and Sensual Kneads a good deal of credit for the turnout. They both put a lot into making it actually happen. It appears the main reason for the infrequency of Austin Socials was
1: cost (we solved that)
2: availability (if future guests are as nice as this time, no problem)
3: participation. (it appears the convenience, ambiance, time, cost, solved those issues)
