On twitter (user @eccie_net), it was posted that ECCIE has been shut down for the time being, I'm guessing primarily due to SESTA/FOSTA. Quoting: "Eccie.net has voluntarily suspended operations while all options are considered. The safety of our staff and members is always our primary concern."

So, I'm not sure what to make of it all. He seems to think it was more of a tech problem than a legal problem.
Grain Belt News has a specific comment about eccie's server where a couple tech guys are spot on.
