Uber, Lyft both are here in RGV
I used Uber a week ago - got a car within 5 mins each time. I’ve also used Lyft and it too is awesome
As for hotels, I like to use those around the Convention Center. I normally book the Embassy Suites although Hawthorn Suites down the road is also awesome.
