So what happened down there? I travel about 4-5 times a year to Houston and would play one night a trip at Post Oak Poker Club, which is now shut down. Any other rooms open near the galleria or are they all closed?

What happened is that gambling in the state of Texas is illegal and has been illegal for a long-ass time.Quote:

Well yea but those houses have been around for several years now. There are several in Austin and San Antonio as well. My question is, have they all closed down or just the two that were busted? I’m asking because I’m heading down there in a few weeks and would like to play some poker.
There are PLENTY of other private locations................. those two that were shut down were just the obvious ones...............
