I will be in Lake Charles next week if everything goes as planned and would like a good recommendation for a Hotel close to a interstate (easy access that is safe). Thxs for your help. You can call me to discuss if you like. I have observed that the smartest men don't divulge everything on a forum.

Literally, that easy to punch in area, amenities, star rating. 10 stays, 11th free.
Those websites are helpful to some degree but my main concern is getting one in a safe area and they don't have that information. The hotel could be newly renovated and lovely but the surrounding area is a concern.
It gives you the exact address you can then Google map for a review of the area. It will show you what's around and if it's hood. This is how Real Estate agents judge as well.
You wanna stay off north 171 ,mlk area. Casino area has lots of new ones off hwy.
