How can i turn my friend request off. Its boggin down my emails with needless notifications.
My Settings... General Settings... Messaging & Notification... Uncheck 'Receive Friendship Request Email'... Save Changes.
it was never checked to begin with. I am trying to get it to where no one on the site can send my a friend request through the site.
I could be wrong, but I don't think turning off friend requests is possible without disabling your PM function entirely, and then you wouldn't get ANY messages from H2. I will also watch this thread for a response from the knowledgeable senior guide. (Blowing kisses to gfe!) I may learn something new.
I get a ton of friend requests as a member of staff. What the heck, I accept them all! I'm very friendly when not admonishing members about guidelines, chuckle. Friend requests help people keep up with what I have to say, even if of little importance, grin.
Seriously, they assist fellows with tracking the latest comments/threads/availability ads/specials that their favorite ladies make, as posts by those "friended" also come up under their own profile activity.
Only takes a second to deny a request, but I haven't yet.
You can always just deny the friend request and move on.
