Considering a stay in Dallas, Austin, and Houston

Hey Y'all, this is Heidi Fly from Fort Worth. I'm considering a short notice tour. I want to visit Dallas, Austin, and Houston. I figured I would start in Dallas, and maybe swing back by there at the end as well. Can anyone tell me good extended stays along the way? Does anyone have a place I could spend a night along the way?? (If we've already met, that would help with the overnight.) Probably only staying 3 or 4 days in each spot. It's my first tour and I don't really know the good places to stay. So, any help is appreciated and any advice about any of the 3 locations I mentioned. PM me, if you want. Thanks, y'all.
