Welcome to OH2. I don’t know what city you are in but I suggest you also post in the Welcome Wagon in the city you are located.
Now as for verification, go to the Houston Board and click on the Welcome Wagon Forum. You will see 3 Sticky Threads at the top of the page. The second from the top is a Thread about how to become verified. Read it. Fancy did a very good job explaining the process. Good luck.
