Sounds to me like she was just doing her job, which is to sell you a fantasy. She probably felt like this was the safest thing she could do after you were so pushy and spent so much money on her. Pushing for that disrupts the ecosystem of that club and makes it an unsafe environment for those who don't want to offer extras at the club.

This is evidently a VERY ymmv type of thing as in my experience 80% of the dancers I've met offer extras without me saying a word. p10 for example. EVERY girl I've ever taken into a cabana, extras without asking. There's certainly a few dancers I've met that i'd never even consider talking about extras but i'd say they are rare. Even in Vegas.

This varies a bit by club, but not by much.

P10 is essentially a brothel in my experience. Have a friend who was a manager there and he said the managers are well aware and don't care what goes on as long as you are selling cabana's and making customers happy and keeping it under the radar. I mean don't be a douche about how you approach it as some girls i'm sure won't take the advance but it's pretty clear pretty quickly that many of the girls are happy to party. Granted it's much cheaper to get one of the fine girls here. Have a lot of girls and waitresses i'm friends with there and the scene is pretty well known I guess by all of them.

We have a hobbyist that works in New Orleans/LakeCharles, almost 50 (he travels frequently and old enough to understand this business) that uses escort websites as match.com and when it backfires on him he complains about being used for his money. I've noticed that's the norm in central and southern TX but that's not the norm nationally.

I don't have a problem with extras due to some complex about full service, otherwise I wouldn't be verified here! My reasoning is that many providers, myself included, will often dance or cam when we need a break from full service.

I'm not here to tell other women how to conduct their business. I will say that when dancers do start offering extras, it puts pressure on the rest of us who don't want to. The reason for that is that when enough of the club's income is sustained by these acts, it does create an environment similar to trafficking, or at least the acts feel as consensual for us in that context as they would in trafficking.

If I'm dancing at P10 and all of my colleagues are giving you fs in a Cabana, I risk losing my job AND I risk my ability to audition elsewhere in town if I don't follow suit.

It also skews the local market on this board.

So I get it. From your end, you're already there, you're horny and booking an escort can be time consuming. But most of the women offering you extras, at least in the 4 years I've danced, don't even want to. They're just trying to avoid being fired. They're not offering extras out of a desire to so much as they are in a response to the market.

In higher end clubs (say it with me: Palazio isn't a nice club. (It's nice compared to other clubs in ATX but objectively isn't that nice)) that have showers, licensed stylists on staff, catering for just the performers, extras WILL get you fired and charges pressed. I've watched it happen.

Tl;Dr: it's basically soft trafficking. Most of us aren't giving you extras because we want to. We can't just find a new job when most of us have a significant employment gap. So this forces dancers who signed up to just be entertainers into not entirely consensual sex work.

Soliciting at clubs gives us less rights and safety in those spaces and also makes local boards a cesspool by impacting the economy here.

Even if it's 20% more expensive for you, isn't it worth it for you to know that my boss isn't forcing me to give you this bj from the comfort of my private incall?

In any case, thank you for the Intel at that club. I was actually practicing to audition there. Confirmed with a friend that it's a low key brothel. I want to say in no uncertain terms that if any providers reading this thread read all of this and choose to work there, you did so making an informed decision! But personally, if I ever want to work at a brothel, I can spend a few hundred on the plane ticket and licensure to do that in Nevada. When I'm at a club, I'm on a break from this.

The OP's original post is just yet another example of how screwed up the scene is in Austin. I'm glad I'm spending next week in Las Vegas. Been seeing the same three providers there for over the past 10 years.
